Workspaces

The first step to using Accode is to create a workspace for your team or organization.

Overview

Your workspace is a standalone environment that contains workflows, dashboards, and other components that you have added to it. When you create your workspace, you give the workspace a name and a workspace URL. Take care when selecting the URL, as you can only change this via a support request.

Settings

Admins are able to:

  • Update your Workspace name.
  • Update environment variables
  • Add or remove members to the Workspace, and manage their permissions
  • Change plans
  • View or update billing information

You can view and manage various workspace settings by navigating to the Workspace menu (top-left) > Settings.

Components

The easiest way to add more functionality to your workspace is by installing a Component Package. You can browse components in the Accode Hub. You can read more about components here:

Delete workspace

You can delete workspaces (which also includes workflows, dashboards, and all data) under Workspace > Settings > Dangerzone, if you're an admin. Please note that this operation is not reversible.

Multiple workspaces

Your user account can be a member of multiple workspaces in Accode.

Creating a new workspace via URL

You can create a new workspace by visiting https://app.accode.io/create.

You can preinstall component packages by supplying them as URL query parameters. For instance, to preinstall the Tutorial package, visit https://app.accode.io/create?components=@accode/tutorial.
